Red-joybean House is located at Hami Street and does everything that has to do with red beans. We only use the large, silky-textured red beans grown at Wandan in Pingtung County as they offer the thickest and most fragrant brews. We love red beans and provide creative twists that go beyond the traditional offerings. Popular examples include Chenpi Red Bean Soup (flavored with dried tangerine skin), Guihua Red Bean Soup (with osmanthus flowers), and Coconut Milk and Red Bean Soup. Another popular favorite is the Japanese Red Bean Baked Mochi. Thick Japanese mochi is baked to create a crispy, caramelized crust and a hot, soft interior that perfectly complements the red bean soup.
