Laomingyu Incense Shop was founded in 1897. The founder Mr. Can Huang left his home in Tainan, wandered to the foreign city of Taipei, and finally settled in Monga. The shop has been passed down for four generations and moved from the end of Xichang Street to Xiyuan Road, and then from under the big tree at the back entrance of Longshan Temple to Guiyang Street. After a century of incense making history, its incenses are still made using powder layers comprised of over 20 types of Chinese medicines to produce a rich fragrance. We insist on using all natural and non-chemical fragrances and pigments. We follow the traditional methods to produce the herbal incenses that not only can give you a peace of mind, but can also rejuvenate the soul and ease the spirit as well.
