Tamsui, being the window of Taiwan and the door of the world, is a place in Taiwan with highest density of cultural heritage. New Taipei City Tamsui Historical Museum is in charge of managing tangible and intangible cultural assets in the Tamsui district. These precious architectures and craftsmanship record Taiwan’s link with the world since the Great Voyage era, as well as bearing witness to Taiwan’s diverse history in politics, economy and culture.
